San Francisco

I just returned from being in San Francisco for about a week, interviewing with schools at the AMA Conference. I also got to spend some time with my aunt and uncle in Livermore, enjoying some great food and wine. Job interviews went very well, I think, and will be hearing back from schools soon about campus visits in September and October. With the wedding over and the first part of the job market wrapped up, I am looking forward to returning to a somewhat more normal work schedule after around 9 months of near perpetual just-in-time, reactionary work.

The month of June

June was a very exciting month for me. A few weeks ago, I sent out my job packets in advance of the AMA conference in San Francisco. Then, I got married to Deborah Richards, who just moved back to the States after working in China for 15 months. Now, I’ll spend July polishing up my materials and presentation, hopefully getting some interviews scheduled and spending some time with my wife. Looking forward to an equally exciting August with the trip to San Francisco.

I am not a blogger.

The only post that will be up for a long time, I am sure.
